This change of residence called for a rescue! The rescue of floorboards that had suffered enormously from dirt and wear. The floor was covered with stains, paint residue, dust and other traces of previous renovation work, but fortunately not glued or painted. The new residents were enthusiastic about the potential of the floorboards, but wondered whether and how such a damaged floor could be made usable again.
