Jöst GmbH has been developing and producing abrasives for trade and industry for more than 30 years. The company has now been honored by the Oskar Patzelt Foundation as the 2016 winner of the "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes" award competition. Together with two other award winners, the Odenwald-based company with around 60 employees is one of the most exemplary and best medium-sized companies in Hesse. The prestigious award is a great honor for the abrasives specialist. After all, around 250 companies were nominated for the award in Hesse alone. Company founder and Managing Director Peter Jöst accepted the award at a festive gala in Würzburg. "The award is a wonderful recognition for our company," said a delighted Jöst, "especially as the prize is one of the most prestigious business awards in Germany. The beautiful statuette will definitely be given a place of honor in our company.
