useit®-Superfinishing Pad SG2

Unlike the SG pad with its sanding net, the useit® Superfinishing Pad SG2 consists of a closed fabric carrier. This more stable surface is ideal for the final sanding of fillers, spot repairs, removing paint runs and dust inclusions, processing and smoothing ‘orange peel' skin and stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, and a wide variety of floor coverings (e.g., PVC, vinyl, wood, 2K coatings). It cleans, polishes and evens out differences in gloss – without damaging the surface. The pad is designed for wet and dry sanding, fits all standard machines and also achieves the best gloss results on solid surface materials. The SG pad with its open mesh net structure is recommended for much better dust extraction in dusty environments.

The useit® Superfinishing Pad SG2 for Jöst eccentric sanders is ideal for processing hard floor coverings such as PVC, lino and vinyl floors, as well as 2K-coated industrial floors and sealed or oiled/waxed wooden floors. The above floor coverings can be cleaned, polished or freed from smears and microscratches – without damaging their surfaces. Even differences in the gloss level of floors can be quickly and easily evened out, saving you time-consuming reworking. Like the SG, the useit®-Superfinishing-Pad SG2 is ideal for wet and dry sanding When used on solid surface materials, the useit® Superfinishing Pad SG2 guarantees the highest gloss levels with no clouding or shadowing.

In contrast to the SG Superfinishing Pad, the SG2 has a closed fabric carrier instead of a sanding net. This more robust surface makes the SG2 particularly suitable for demanding applications - such as the final sanding of fillers, the removal of paint runs or dust inclusions and the smoothing of orange peel skin in spot repairs. The SG2 also flexes its muscles in smoothing transitions, vehicle preparation and when sanding stainless steel and non-ferrous metals. Like the SG, the SG2 is suitable for both wet and dry sanding. The pads are compatible with all commercially available sanding machines - regardless of the suction pads perforation.

However, we recommend the Superfinishing Pad SG with its sanding net for surfaces that develop a particularly high dust accumulation during dry sanding, because its open structure ensures continuous and comprehensive dust extraction directly through the pad.

With our useit® Superfinishing-Pad SG2 finishing and polishing brushes, high-gloss surfaces can be created effortlessly without the need for polishing paste. The brushes are particularly effective on curves and profiled surfaces.

They ensure impressive shine results on stainless steel sheets – without any felt or polishing agents. Thanks to the high flexibility of the abrasive, the brushes adapt perfectly to the surface contour of the surface being processed. This reliably prevents through-sanding at edges or transitions. Even when processing solid surface materials, e.g. in the washbasin sector, they enable seamless transitions in gloss and texture – for a visually consistent, professional finish.

The useit® Superfinishing Pad SG2 for the Jöst P1 dust-free sanding system differs from our Superfinishing Pad SG in that the abrasive grit carrier consists of a closed fabric and not a fine sanding net. Thanks to its more stable surface, the useit® Superfinishing Pad SG2 is ideal for processing solid surface materials, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, GRP and wooden surfaces. Depending on the grit used, different gloss levels can be achieved in a very short time. Like the SG, the useit® Superfinishing Pad SG2 is suitable for wet and dry sanding.
