Can your abrasives be used wet and dry?
Yes, many of our abrasives are ideal for both wet and dry usage scenarios. Here’s an overview of our main products and their possible usage scenarios – suitable for wet & dry use: useit®-Abrafilm®, Abraflex® Maroon Pad, useit® Superfinishing Pads SG, SG2, SG3, Abraflex® Superpad cleaning pads.
Are the pads only available for your machines?
No, we offer all the standard sizes.
What are the advantages of an eccentric machine compared to a conventional single-disc machine?
Easier to use, a wider range of applications, more efficient working, working close to edges, often no chemicals required.
Which pads do I use to process parquet floors?
The pads that should be used to treat parquet floors depends on how you want the floor to look after processing. Generally speaking, our useit® Superpad P Yellow is very well suited for working on parquet floors and can be used for the all-purpose sanding of wood. A heavily soiled parquet floor is best treated with our Green Cut® abrasive mesh with its ideal carrier structure. Thanks to its very fine grit size, the useit® Abrafilm® can be used for the finest sanding work.
What grit sizes should I use to process solid surface materials?

On which machines do the Multiloch pads fit?
All our Multiloch sanding pads can be used with any standard sanding machine, regardless of the perforation and number of suction perforations in the sanding discs and plates. They can also be used universally on all hand sanders with and without dust extraction.
Which products can be used to give stainless steel a high gloss?
Our useit®-Superfinishing Pad SG and useit®-Superfinishing Pad SG2 are suitable for sanding and polishing stainless steel. High-gloss surfaces can be easily and quickly achieved without having to use polishing paste.
What advantages does the Jöst system offer for protective film restoration compared to conventional methods?
It removes protective films without aggressive chemicals, saves time and is gentle on the floor covering, making the cleaning process more sustainable and economical.
What’s the difference between the Yellow and Gold papers?
Our useit®-Superpad P Yellow is particularly suitable for drywall construction and for use on wooden surfaces. The useit® Superpad P gold, on the other hand, is better suited for sanding painted surfaces and for use on solid surface materials. The Multiloch perforation of both pads enables the dust-free transportation of the sanding dust.
What makes the compressed Blue Wave so special?
The new Blue Wave melamine pad is an extremely tough pad. It's made of 100% melamine, which has been solidified in a special manufacturing process. Thanks to its stability, it's ideal for cleaning smooth surfaces. It won't break and has an even longer shelf life. The chemical-free and effective solution for removing stubborn stains from all surfaces! For floor care - over 7,000 m² service life on smooth floors - €0.002 pad costs per m².
How do I process structured floors?
Our Abranopp® cleaning pads, specially developed for structured floor coverings, will give you outstanding and reliable deep cleaning. In combination with our Floor Cleaner and Floor Cleaner Junior cleaning systems, structured floors can be cleaned easily and thoroughly using wet cleaning.
